Wooly Bugger Productions Takes Top International Creative Award – The 2005 Summit Creative Awards
Wooly Bugger Productions is a Gold Winner in the 2005 Summit Creative Awards® competition. The 2005 Broadcast Best of Show award was given for the radio commercial “Disclaimer Man”© for Jimi Beans Coffee of Redding, CA.
“We’re very honored and thrilled with this award. The owners of Jimi Beans Coffee gave us creative freedom, and the idea for Disclaimer Man© came from decades of voicing radio tags, and poking fun at being ‘that guy’. We wanted to create something memorable and effective, and we’re very happy with the results.” Derek Shetterly, Owner/Producer, Wooly Bugger Productions.
“I constantly look forward to when we will use your services again – it was great to be associated with a source of energy that always is innovative and never complacent. I am sure that your creativity helped Jimi Beans become successful.” Jim Botsford, Owner, Jimi Beans Coffee, Redding, CA

Wooly Bugger?
What the heck is a Wooly Bugger?
Depending on what part of the world you live in, and your recreational hobbies, a Wooly Bugger could mean a few things, and pronounced different ways (ie; “Booger” is wrong).
For us, it’s a “fly” that fly-fishermen use to fish for steelhead and trout. That’s where our logo comes from! Another passion of ours, is fishing!
We wanted to give the business a name that people would remember and that would reflect a bit of our lifestyle here in the great Pacific Northwest.
We had a great time creating our cool mascot!
